How Img2det Project publishes and reviews content

Who maintains this project

Img2det Project is maintained under a project name rather than a public personal identity. The project publishes its product scope, methodology, benchmark records, source links, and issue tracker so readers can evaluate claims and report corrections.

AI assistance and human review

AI may assist with outlines, editing, or organizing material. It does not replace the human review required before publication. A maintainer verifies cited sources, checks product behavior against the documented environment, and is responsible for the final wording.

Maintenance responsibilities

Final publication decisions, source verification, and benchmark sign-off are human maintainer responsibilities. AI pre-review records are evidence to be checked, not approval by themselves.

  • A maintainer verifies cited sources and checks product behavior before a guide is marked reviewed.
  • A maintainer inspects each benchmark input, report, and limitation before human sign-off.
  • Unsupported detector or authenticity claims are rejected or corrected before publication.
  • Corrections remain traceable through the public project record, GitHub issues, and the contact address.

Evidence standard

Educational pages distinguish verified C2PA evidence, marker-only clues, metadata, and forensic context. We do not present the checker as a definitive real-or-fake authority. Claims about runtime behavior must link to a reproducible benchmark record or a primary technical source.

Corrections and updates

Material corrections update the page date and the relevant benchmark or methodology record. Product issues, source corrections, and feedback can be filed through the public GitHub issue tracker or emailed to [email protected]. General requests target a response within five business days.
